Min Qualifications
Licensed to practice dentistry in the state of Texas. Current registration of license to practice dentistry in the state of Texas. Current Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) controlled substance registration certificate. Current Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) controlled substance registration certificate. Current certification in cardiopulmonary resuscitation. Two years minimum general clinical practice preferred.
Job Description
Performs responsible general direct dental care services for the offender population of a correctional facility, in conformance with University procedures and Health Services policies. Works under supervision of the Cluster Dental Director with latitude for the exercise of independent judgement. May be required to provide dental services on multiple facilities.
Specific Job Related Duties
Position if 50% at McConnell and 50% at Connally Units.
