Collaborates with leadership team of the Office of Student Services to provide a supportive environment to students during their academic career.<br/><br/><b>Salary Range</b><br/><br/>From $106,640.00 To $130,000.00 Annually<br/><br/><b>Specific Job Related Duties</b><br/><br/>ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:<br/><br/>- Leads the management team of the Office of Enrollment Services concerning:  personnel, budget, establishing policies and procedures, organization and planning, strategic planning, and staff development.<br/>- Ensures that quality services are provided in an accurate, timely, and professional manner while maintaining absolute ethical integrity and compliance with regulatory requirements.<br/><br/>- Assumes accountability for:<br/>- Full-range of support for admissions and registration processes for all UTMB schools.<br/>- Distribution of student financial aid and all associated activities including reporting responsibilities.<br/>- Development and maintenance of academic records, student information system, degree audits, and all associated services.<br/>- Coordinates endowment scholarships and awards.<br/><br/>- Ensures the protection of rights of privacy for students according to Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) guidelines.  Serves as resource and liaison to representatives of the four UTMB schools, other UTMB departments and external organizations and agencies (e.g. Coordinating Board, AAMC, NBME, Texas Workforce Commission, and Veterans Administration).<br/>- Identifies service and program needs, establishes parameters and direction of processes to meet existing UTMB needs and changing environments (e.g. new academic programs, new delivery systems, new or revised curricula, new  statutory or regulatory changes, new technology, and new student recruitment initiatives).<br/>- Adheres to internal controls and reporting structure.<br/><br/>KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS / ABILITIES:<br/><br/>- Ability to plan, organize, set and accomplish goals<br/>- Ability to analyze/evaluate data and make appropriate recommendations<br/>- Strong leadership skills<br/>- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
